Congratulations to Kelly Huss, paraprofessional, on her retirement last month! Kelly has a gift for helping student and staff and is just a genuinely kind, intelligent, and hard-working person striving for the best every day. Her expertise and skills are going to be greatly missed by so many in this district. We're excited for her to be able to spend even more time with her grandkids going forward, and we know she is as well. Thank you sincerely, Kelly, for the tremendous work you have done over many years. You have been a definite asset to the Comet Team!

Shout-out to Educators in the Great Lakes Bay Region, who participated in Hour of Code and could sign up to be entered into a random drawing for classroom prizes. One of those teachers was Janet Bohn who won a 2nd place! Congrats Mrs. Bohn and thank you for bringing Code into your classroom for your students!
Shout-out to Liz Moore who applied for the Gerstacker Teacher Innovator Grant. Ms. Moore's project, "Kindergarten Scientists," earned a $913.04 award of materials to use with her students. So excited to see the purchases and what students do with them.

The more people providing their input the better and this will be sent out to families as well. Please take a few minutes to fill out this survey by December 11th (this coming Saturday): https://forms.gle/9Evw8VXQA2RTdfF87
