As we are getting ready to start host our home openers for track, basketball and softball, we have another winter sport to highlight before the weather turns. Girls basketball had a 2nd team MSAC All-Conference player in senior Emily VanSickle. Freshman Kendall Allen received an honorable mention recognition as well. Congratulations to these two and the rest of the very young team. Autumn Sapp was the other senior on this team and also had a great season. Thank you to Matt McPhee for the senior night and action photos.

In 2024 and 2025, the CCS Endowment Fund funded three student-centered projects for a total of $3,953.89. We're hoping that the 24-hour online giving day event coming up on May 6th, Give Local Midland, will help us replace and build upon those funds so we can fund even more great opportunities for our students! Add Give Local Midland to your calendar and check out the endowment fund page for more information: www.colemanschools.net/endowment
If you are a local business that would like to help us out by offering matching funds for this special fundraiser, please reach out to nkalitta@colemanschools.net for more information. Thank you!

Senior Emily VanSickle had a great start to her track season last Friday at Clare. She tied the school record for the high jump in the first meet. Senior Logan Dudley finished 2nd in the 800m, and freshman Brayden Wright ended up 3rd in the 300m hurdles.
