First graders learned about and experienced the process of making maple syrup, one of the many sweet things that the earth provides, at the Chippewa Nature Center!


Coleman Elementary is excited to host our annual Leadership Day! Families are invited to join us on Friday, May 16th, 12-3pm for a fun, leadership-filled day. Families will enjoy a family picnic, habit presentations, a habit parade, and our final habit huddle on the track. Please see the attached flyer for more information. We cannot wait to show you our genius!

Ag students have been busy constructing fishing rods as part of their unit on Natural Resources. Finished products will be used on a fishing field day experience in the coming weeks.


HS band had a Thank You concert last night for the supporters and donors that helped the students go to New York last month. They played a couple songs and showed some videos of their performances on stage - by the way, they sounded AMAZING! A few students shared how the trip impacted them and their appreciation for Mr. Burkhart and the community for helping them have this unique experience. Previously in the Third Grade, some sparkly ducks had flocked to Mr. Liechty's room. His class was able to catch most of them, but they think a few retreated to Mrs. Pelletier's classroom. To help her class out, Mr. Liechty's class caught some predators to slither after the stragglers. I wonder what will happen next time in the Third Grade . . .



Ms. Rocheleau's class loves watching the eggs grow! They will be hatching so soon! We're excited! 🐣🥚




Reminder for Mrs. Robison's students: Algebra I and Math 8 will both have a test on Friday this week.

The permission slips for the 7th grade Chippewa Nature Center Field trip are going out this week. Mr. Francis and Mr. Brown will be taking the 7th graders to see the wetlands at the center, please get those permission slips returned ASAP and make sure your kids wear appropriate attire and have sunblock available etc. for May 8th. The bus leaves at 11:30am (after lunch) and returns at 2:30pm. Interested chaperones, please reach out to Mr. Francis or Mr. Brown. Go Comets!


Those that ordered Krispy Kreme from the cheer team, orders will be ready for pickup on Friday in the HS cafeteria by 2:30pm.

These ladies are ROCK STARS every single day: Mrs. Sian, Mrs. Lovejoy, Mrs. Porter, Mrs. Berthume, Mrs. Kalitta, Mrs. Grzegorek, Ms. Bressette, and don't forget Mrs. Bell & Mrs. Litke (who are both still graciously filling in for us!) We cannot thank you enough for the outstanding work you do, how you answer a MILLION questions from all of us, keep processes moving, talk with parents, document and fill out tons of paperwork, answer phones . . . all with a smile, a laugh, and kindness. Kindergarteners recently traveled to the Chippewa Nature Center - back when the weather was still pretty chilly. Hoping those coats aren't needed much longer!
