Should any of you with a child in our district age 16+ be interested, the Health Department will be holding a Student Vaccination Clinic. This is being offered as an option for ease of use for those families who wish to take advantage of it, but completely up to the family to decide if they are interested.  The 1st dose clinic will be on April 28th from 2-4:00 p.m.; the 2nd dose clinic will be held on May 19th from 2-4:00 p.m. Parents are welcome to come to the clinic with their child as well and will check in at the marked area just outside of the front doors near the auditorium. Students may also come on their own and can be called down from class. Either way, students must be pre-registered by completing the paperwork at this link https://5il.co/rkhn and submitting it to the school office ahead of the clinic. Parents are also welcome to get vaccinated if they would like and also need to sign up ahead of time. If you as a parent would like to sign up for vaccination for yourself, please fill out the information at this link: https://forms.gle/62LgzBHQLA5j... We hope that this information will be helpful to you. I apologize that some people were having trouble with the original link.

Shout out from a parent to Comet Alum, Cody Finney. Cody has been assisting at JH track practice, mentoring the shotput athletes. He has also mentored the football team and weight lifting team. I love that he is giving back to his school and our athletes.

Thank you to our Community Support Partners- Kayla Shoutes (Pathways to Potential) and Richard Templeman (Parent Liaison) whose original Recognition Day we missed due to a snow day. You pick up so many needs of our kids and families that we may not otherwise be able to get to.

All Midland County residents (18+)are encouraged to complete the survey. The survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/73XQQX7) should take about 25 minutes, and all responses will remain anonymous.
