There will be a Facilities Input Meeting at the Jr./Sr. High at 6:30 p.m. next Thursday, October 13th. Please consider attending to learn where we have come from, where we are currently, and to give input to future planning for all district facilities including capital improvements of buildings, arts, athletics, Career-Technical Education (CTE), vehicles and district grounds. If you can't make it to this one but would like to participate, there will be additional meetings on November 29th and January 18th. We hope to see you there!

Do you ever wonder what your teachers do on Early Release days? Today, Elementary teachers met with Chippewa Nature Center educators, then toured the agricultural program barn, the greenhouse, and other outdoor learning spaces.

Homecoming festivities are coming up this weekend! The community is invited to join us in celebrating our school spirit! The Health department will be hosting a vaccine clinic at the Jr/Sr High School Auditorium on October 14th from 1-4 for students and staff. The health department will have either Pfizer or Moderna available with the Omicron variant protection, as well as the Influenza vaccine. Now through Nov. 1, Bayer Fund’s America’s Farmers Grow Communities program encourages eligible farmers to enroll for the chance to direct $5,000 donations to local eligible nonprofits, schools or ag programs.

The theme for the Homecoming dance this year is Dance Through the Decades! It will be on Saturday, October 8th in the Jr/Sr High gym, from 8-11 pm. $5 per person at the door. Have fun, Comets!
