These girls had a pretty good day showing today. Alyssa took 1st in her weight class and market pen and Maz took 7th in her weight class. Ava’s day didn’t go as planned; her lamb re-injured her knee in showmanship and was then scratched her from showing her market pen. The family sends a huge thanks to Logan for offering to show her lamb in market “they” took 3rd!! Huge amounts of work and care goes into these animals looking before the fair and during. Proud of you all! #Coleman #growingforthefuture #education #Agriscience #preferreddistrict #FFA #4h

The Sysak kids have been hard at work. Vance placed 6th in showmanship and Klaira placed 3rd. Each of them had about 20 pigs in their class. Both pigs took 4th in their market division. MaryAnn weighed in at 257lb and Ginger 284lb. The work ethic, leadership and other skills will be valuable to them not only in 4H but in life. #Coleman #growingforthefuture #education #Agriscience #preferreddistrict #FFA #CometPride

How will the elementary school facilities be impacted if this bond were to pass on August 3rd? A quick tour of the elementary shows which projects would be tackled that were not able to be completed with the 2015 bond https://vimeo.com/571764099
The Tax Calculator on the bond website is easy to find and easy to use. It literally takes one minute and provides you with an accurate estimate of the increase to your property taxes should the bond pass. It is important that you check this out for yourself instead of getting information from other people; everyone's income, township and estimated property tax increase is different. Several people were told their taxes would go up many hundreds of dollars, but after using the tax calculator, found it was much less than they had been told originally. Be informed before you vote. The Tax Calculator can be found at this link: https://www.colemanschools.net/o/coleman-cs/page/bond-information--11#tax Please SHARE with community members and be sure to vote on August 3rd or by Absentee Ballot by August 2nd.
