Drama Club cultivates more connections than I have time to list! This program brings together students of all ages, builds friendships, improves creativity skills, teaches students about classic stories, encourages leadership, public speaking, teamwork . . . the list goes on! Thanks to the support of our Board of Education, we were able to fund the purchase of enough solar eclipse glasses so that ALL of our K-12 students could safely view the eclipse! This rare opportunity cultivated connections by creating a cool memory that these students will remember forever . . . and that may also spark interest in the field of astronomy!

Here at Coleman, we even have alumni that continue to cultivate connections within and outside of our district! Comet alum Shane Gross, along with his teammates at SVSU, engineered an operational automatic smart aquaponics system that they then donated to our Agriscience program! The SVSU team gave an educational presentation about the system to the students; who will reap the benefits from the high-tech system. How cool!

Agriscience students pose with their FFA certificates after the annual FFA banquet! FFA cultivates Comet connections by encouraging leadership opportunities via student officers, expanding student horizons with each state convention and conference, and by connecting with students from other districts to improve peer relationships. How cool is that?

This student is making connections between the microscopic world and ours by viewing cells under a microscope! She's either looking at pond water samples or at a swab of her own cells, both of which can be very interesting research!

Our food service staff is the best! Thank you for the effort you put into your job on a daily basis. It's no secret that they always serve with a smile and put a little love into everything they make. This group puts about 600 people through their lines daily; imagine doing that in your own kitchen! They keep our stomachs from growling and kids from getting "hangry". Take a second today to thank to food service worker that's in your life!
