The 6th graders' bulbs have sprouted! This year, they experimented with daffodils. All the tulips are from previous years' experiments. Isn't it cool when science can also make our campus more beautiful? #growingforthefuture
Transportation Recognition Day is today!! This group puts so much care and skill into our students every day to get them to us and from us safe and sound, regardless of the weather. Please take some time to give them a thank you, send a quick note or reach out to tell them how appreciated they are.
6th graders have been studying cells and on Thursday they got to see them up close. Students used microscopes to look at animals and plants with compound microscopes. Mr. Rod brought two dissecting microscopes and several creatures from the pond at the Nature Center to look at (though they keep swimming out of lens site). The highlight was probably when students scraped the inside of their cheek so they could look at their own cells. How cool is that? #academicsartsathleticsagriculture #growingforthefuture
