Everybody - set your alarms for 3:00! If we are able to earn the FIRST donation after 3:00 pm today, before any other participating organization, we'll win the "$300 after 3" award and an additional $300 for our endowment fund! Let's go for it! Check out our Give Local page here to read our story and learn more about the endowment fund! https://www.givelocalmidland.org/organizations/coleman-community-schools The Comet HS Band had the amazing opportunity to perform onstage at the legendary Carnegie Hall back in March! This trip was made possible by our generous community that rallied together to support this once-in-a-lifetime experience for our students. Small school, BIG opportunities! #LEADLikeAComet

So, what do we use the CCS Endowment Fund for? This past school year we funded three projects that were proposed by staff members. Project #2 helped the Drama Club put on their full-length production of Mary Poppins! This funding was used to purchase supplies for set-building, costumes, and hair & make-up needs. If you want to help us fund more projects next year, consider making a contribution to the Endowment Fund today! https://www.givelocalmidland.org/organizations/coleman-community-schools #GiveLocalMidland #LEADLikeAComet

On Tuesday, April 29th, Members of the Jazz Band and Choir performed at the MSAC Talent Review. Schools across the MSAC each sent three acts to perform. Those acts were judged and the top 8 were chosen to be a part of the Traveling Talent Show, performing in each of the schools over the next week. We're excited to say that our Jazz Band and Choir performance of SIX were both chosen to be a part of the Traveling show!
