Wed., 1/7/2026- We have poor Princess, the dog who can't take another day of "beauty school", a parent who jokingly told me yesterday "you have to take the kids back at some point", an elementary student who was going to be mad at me yesterday because he wanted to go back to school and a staff who wants to see their students. We have everyone RIGHT where we want them ;o) and can't wait to see you all at 10 a.m. Buses are going to take their time so we ask that you have your child(ren) at the stop on time and give us a bit of grace today on timing today. With the light and a slower pace, we'll get everyone in safely. If you are driving, please take your time as well. Thank you also to the Isabella and Midland Road Commission for getting in early and helping us with our areas.
Tues., Jan. 6, 2026- Coleman Schools will be closed today. Information about afternoon and evening events will be posted around noon today.

This is just one part of the improvements happening in the auditorium thanks to a grant from the Midland Area Community Foundation and the support of other generous donors 🙌

Ms. Kaleigh Boggs was approved at the Board Meeting earlier this month and will add to her responsibilities as our Junior High Student Council Advisor! 🎉 She’s excited to help students get more involved, build connections, and grow into well-rounded individuals—all while having fun! 💙

Mr. Cody Wright was also approved at the Board Meeting and will be joining us as our Custodial/Maintenance Director. 🛠️ He comes to us with four years of experience as Facilities Director at the Midland County ESA, along with extensive knowledge of bond projects, prior experience at MPS, and multiple maintenance and MSBO certifications.
Mr. Wright is excited to return to a local school district, and we’re happy to welcome him to the Comet Team ☄️ knowing he’ll be able to hit the ground running. Please help us give him a warm welcome! 🤍
