Ms. Lea served 175 cups of hot cocoa at lunch during kindness week! Students said something nice to the person in front of them and behind them so they were always giving and getting kind words said to them while they waited to get a cup of cocoa. How cozy! ☕

Mr Liechty's 3rd grade class created marble putt putt challenges using a supply of odds and ends, then took turns trying each other's. You'll have to ask them which was the best.










Coleman wrestling is starting a new era with their team after years of combining with another local school. They competed in a tournament at Sanford-Meridian on Saturday and grew as a team. Will Coe was 4-1 on the day with Adam Muddimen going 2-0.

Boys basketball came out with a hard-fought victory in their home opener Friday night. They took down the Eagles of Carson City-Crystal by a score of 47-37. The Comets were paced by a double-double by Jared DeVrieze with 15 points and 13 rebounds. With Logan Glazier just 1 point short of a double-double with 9 points and 10 rebounds. Colin Stockero had 2 three-pointers to open the second half to finish with 12. The Comets travel to Sacred Heart Academy on Wednesday.

On Saturday, November 16th, four drama club students visited CMU's Theater and Dance department preview day. Students attended workshops on Musical Theater, Makeup & Costuming, Acting & Directing, and Theater Tech. Then they were able to watch TAD’s performance of Mel Brooks “Young Frankenstein”.


Mrs. Pelletier’s 3rd grade class won best attendance in October. Their reward? Cider and donuts!








Afternoon practices will be optional today for HS. All JH practices are cancelled. Boys HS Basketball optional practices will be at 3:30. Girls HS Basketball optional practices will be at 3:15 in the Family Center. Wrestling will not have practice today.

STUDENTS- since I know you're awake now that you don't have to go to school ;o) spend your time on something productive. I could use some new memes or a quick video to share on ice, snow or severe cold days and I know YOU are great at making them. Parents can help, too. Keep them school/community appropriate, send them to jmccormack@colemanschools.net and yours might be used on the next Act of God Day. Include your name(s) so I can give you credit. For Wed., 12.4, SPARKS and IGNITE programs are closing early today at 4:30 p.m. due to the icy road conditions. Drama will end tryouts early at 4:45 p.m. High school Boys Basketball practice is canceled and Girls Basketball practice will end a bit early to help keep more students of the icy roads in the dark. JH Girls Basketball game is still on for 4:30 as the opposing team has arrived. Please be safe if you have to go out.
