Mr. Olmsted has volunteered several days this year to be a WatchDOG! The students in Ms. Lovejoy's 1st grade class love working with him in small groups!

Students in Mr. McCormack's 7th hour Zoology began day one of a 2-day fetal pig dissection, dissections similar to what they would find at a Division 1 university. They have studied the mammalian anatomy among others throughout the year and the fetal pig is the best example we can give the students of this form. As they culminate the work of the year, students use this hands-on opportunity to find the heart, trachea and clean the circulatory system, made easier to identify as the arteries and veins have been dyed blue and red. They continued the dissection later by looking at cross sections of the heart and kidneys and working through the digestive system.

Ag students are having a busy spring! They are installing a koi pond that will utilize plants grown in the greenhouse. Progress will be posted as things develop.
