Join us on Monday, March 23 at 6:30 PM in the Coleman Jr/Sr High School Gymnasium to meet this seasonโs student-athletes, show your support, and get ready for an exciting spring of Comet athletics.
A parent meeting will follow at 7:00 PM.
Letโs pack the gym and support our Comets!

โ๏ธ Kaleigh was nominated for helping a reluctant student deal with a situation, offering support to a student needing help with their FAFSA, and just showing genuine care and kindness to each person she interacted with all while handling the rest of her job. Thanks Kaleigh!
โ๏ธCindy was nominated for going above and beyond daily for her students, her staff, and the district. Cindy supports her staff to the point that she often works hours after the school day ends in order to complete her own tasks and duties. Cindy is always checking on staff outside of work hours, offering meals, rides, or anything else that may be needed. Cindy is truly an amazing administrator and has worked hard to make Coleman Schools a family. Thank you Cindy!
These employees enjoy one month of parking in the reserved 'Employee of the Month' parking space at their building, one month of getting the 'Employee of the Month' trophy on their desk, and one month of bragging rights. Thanks for being outstanding employees! We appreciate your hard work and dedication to the district! #LEADLikeAComet

โข Explore career pathways in the skilled trades
โข Learn about fields like welding, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, manufacturing, and more
Open to ALL high school students! Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required - feel free to stop by and check it out.
If you're thinking about your future and want to explore hands-on, in-demand careers, this event is for you. We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to Ms. Courtney Neiderquill who will be with us again this spring, this time as the Junior High Girls Track Coach! ๐๐We're excited to have Coach Neiderquill in this position as she has 10 years of track coaching experience working with hundreds of students and has really worked hard to engrain herself into Coleman in the short time she has been with us, really building connections with her athletes. Coach Neiderquill shared strong detail about how she would address a practice and build the program before the students even get into junior high. Thank you for taking on another role with Coleman Schools! ๐

Students chose a career and then visited 'life' stations where they had make choices about housing, credit cards, food, student loans, entertainment, and more โ all based on their income.
Turns outโฆ adulting can be tricky! ๐ณ๐ ๐
Thank you to the Midland County ESA CTE team and the area volunteers who helped make this valuable learning experience possible!

Their top pick: Conga lines ๐๐บ
A few minutes of movement and laughter helps everyone reset and get ready to learn again. (Plus, theyโre pretty good at it!) ๐

What a great way to practice observation skills and learn about the world right outside our doors!

Once again, our students showed what teamwork and responsibility look likeโworking together and following expectations without adult reminders. ๐ซ
Their hard work paid off with a well-earned February Hat Day! ๐งข
Weโre proud of the way this group supports each other and represents our school. Keep it up, 6th grade! ๐
