Our 6th graders give back to elementary families every week from October to May! They pack over 60 bags of food, from EFPN in Midland, then deliver the bags to elementary classrooms. Then, they break down all of the cardboard cases for recycling. So proud of our Comets for taking on this awesome leadership opportunity!

Andrea Secrease, the Executive Director at the Greater Midland Coleman Family Center (formerly the Railway Family Center), shared at the Board Meeting last night some of the great things that they provide for the community, including athletic clubs for children, adults, and seniors, partnerships with multiple charitable organizations to help provide community support, and hosting the Coleman Community Market that sells goods at prices below retail. Andrea informed the board that the Family Center would be unable to support their kids, families, and seniors without their partnership with Coleman Schools. We’re so happy to have this resource available to our students and our community!
