Thank you to our Community Support Partners- Kayla Shoutes (Pathways to Potential) and Richard Templeman (Parent Liaison) whose original Recognition Day we missed due to a snow day. You pick up so many needs of our kids and families that we may not otherwise be able to get to.
A tremendous thank you to our bus drivers and staff on Transportation Recognition Day tomorrow. Families and students are so thankful for your safety, skill, and kind personalities toward our kids. It has to be one of THE toughest jobs, and we are so appreciative of all of you.

Wednesday, February 24th, is a half day of school for students. Jr./Sr. High will release at 11:20 a.m. and Elementary at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be offered prior to dismissal.
As a reminder, SPARKS after school program does not run on half days and will not take place tomorrow, Feb. 24th.

Midland Area Community Foundation is partnering with the We Hear You initiative to support a community Diversity, Equity and Inclusion survey. All Midland County residents (18+)are encouraged to complete the survey. The survey (https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/73XQQX7) should take about 25 minutes, and all responses will remain anonymous.
The We Hear You, Midland Racial and Ethnic Equity and Inclusion Survey is designed to assess your experiences with racial/ethnic (in)equity in Midland County. Through the collective voices of members of the Midland Community, agencies within Midland will be able to address issues of racial/ethnic inequity. The aggregate results of the survey will help guide Midland County agencies in improving racial/ethnic relations within Midland County.
Tonight's Girls Varsity Basketball game @ Vestaburg is a go! Game time is 6:30 (bus leaves at 4:45) and can be livestreamed at https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/schools/vestaburg-high-school-vestaburg-mi.

JV Boys Basketball will play the Gladwin freshman team at 5:30 tonight before the Varsity play Vestaburg.
Also, the JH Girls Basketball bus will leave for St Charles at 3:45 instead of 2:40, so the game will begin approximately 4:45.

As our students and spectators start getting back into events, they'll notice improvements to the Jr./Sr. High gym ceilings, walls and trim paint which has sharpened the look. Special thanks to the Boosters for new mats on the walls and our custodial crew for their extra cleaning/organizing efforts following the painting.

We received a shout-out from a student to their teacher, Mrs. Mutton recently~ "She is so nice to the entire class, she plays with us at recess, she makes us laugh a lot, she does so many fun things since we went back after virtual learning. She gave us a treat during the NWEA test and she is one of my favorite teachers."

Elementary report cards were sent home today. There is an error in the attendance portion only and reflects total days absent for a student from the first day they started at Coleman.
