Students created thoughtful gifts for their moms, including bookmarks, cards, and shrink paper keychains that read “I love you mom.” Nearly every student had a special guest attend, making the celebration even more meaningful.
It was a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, memories, and a few happy tears. 💕

For generations of Comets, this building has been home to memories, friendships, milestones, and traditions. ☄️💙
Before summer construction begins at the Jr/Sr High, we invite our community to stop in for one last walk through the halls that have meant so much to so many over the last 50 years.
Join us for refreshments, a look back through the years, a groundbreaking ceremony, and a chance to reconnect and reminisce before this next chapter begins.
We’d love to see students, alumni, staff, families, and community members there!

The 6th graders did it again! Another 50 We Synergize points earned! 👏💙Their reward was a day of extra credit. All their assignment points for the day give them extra credit in that subject. How fun is that?

During the visit, they learned more about how school funding moves through both the House and Senate while also hearing impactful stories from youth and staff about the benefits of school-based clinics. 💬🏫
The group even had the opportunity to “meet” Governor Gretchen Whitmer as she shared encouraging words with students about the importance of advocacy work and using their voices to create long-term change. 👏
We’re proud of these students for representing our school and being part of such meaningful conversations! ☄️💙
