Congrats to our amazing Agriscience students! There were a lot of well-deserved awards given out Tuesday night at the annual FFA banquet. Mr. Fischer and Mrs. Zwemmer had so many wonderful things to say about them and the leadership skills they exhibit. Keep up the excellent work, Comets! You make us so proud!
Comets Communicate is tonight at 6 PM in the Jr/Sr High School Auditorium! The event is open to all Jr/Sr High parents that would like to learn more about new initiatives within the school and want to help brainstorm solutions for areas of improvement. There will be samples from our school Food Service and also a drawing for a gift card! We hope to see you there!

From the High School National Honor Society: Thank you to everyone who supported us by purchasing items from the bake sale at the Coleman Area Library on March 18. Our sale was a huge success; we are incredibly grateful for all the community support for this event!

Dominick Dickinson and Dawson Haller competed with their CTE Automotive class at Delta College Student Technical Solutions in the Automotive MLR (Maintenance and Light Repair) Competition. The team took both first and second place! Congratulations to Dominick and Dawson and the entire group!

Registration is now open for the 8th annual Skilled Trades Night at J. Ranck Electric, taking place on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Find out how JRE employees energized their careers, see their work, and hear how the decision to enter skilled trades has led to successful and rewarding careers. All students (grades 7-12) and parents are invited to join us for interactive tours, equipment simulation, career information, dinner and more! Please see the flier for more information.

Coleman Youth Wrestling had an incredible weekend- 10 kids wrestled at MYWAY Regionals and all 10 kids placed. 9 of them are going on to the State Championship!!!

The 2022 Board Scholar list is posted! Qualified students must have made the honor roll for the last three marking periods with no negative citizenship marks. Students listed must pick up a Board Scholar form available in the school office. Awards will be presented April 6 at 6:30pm in the Jr/Sr High auditorium.

Our National Honor Society chapter will host a bake sale at the Coleman Area Library Thursday and Friday! Proceeds will pay for membership fees and graduation stoles for seniors.
Jr./Sr. High Daily Announcements 3/14/22: The Board Scholars lists for both Jr. and Sr. High are posted in the cafeteria and the media center. If your name is on the list, stop in the office and pick up a form and return it as soon as possible. Let us know if you think you should be on the list and are not (no grade lower than a B- in marking periods 1&2 this year, and marking period 4 last year). ----- Spring Play tickets for The Wizard of Oz are on sale in the Jr./Sr. High office or from Mrs. Shumaker. PreK-6th grade $4, 12 and up $8, 65+ $6. ----- Free after-school tutoring for English, Math, and Social Studies for Jr./Sr. High School students begins March 22nd and 24th from 3-4 pm. Sign up w/ Mrs. Tigner, and make sure you arrange for a ride home afterwards! -----
