Every Veteran's Day, our student NHS members have the profound honor of helping the local VFW set up flags at the Coleman Veteran's Memorial. This morning, students listened to VFW members share stories about their experiences in the wars they were involved in, and learned about the deep significance behind the flags they helped to display.

A heartfelt thank you to all veterans for your selfless service and sacrifice. 🎖️ Your stories teach us the true meaning of freedom and remembrance. We are grateful for you every single day!

The Quiz Bowl team traveled to CMU and filmed a game of Quiz Central vs. Sacred Heart Academy. The show will air on CMU Public TV on February 18, 2026. It is Game 7 of this year's series. Recently the North Bradley School Forest Property had a new driveway put in, further from the curve on that road for safety reasons after getting it approved by the Midland County Road Commission. We then turned a part of the project over to our Agriscience students, asking them to petition the Road Commission for a “hidden driveway” sign in that area to add more layers of safety. Lillian Rice jumped right in, determined the verbiage and wrote a letter to the Road Commission. Tryston Miller, Rilynn Hammond and Lauren Moening supported that letter, looking up the policies and steps that they needed to take. They got it completed quickly and the Road Commission responded just as fast. After decades without it, tha area already has a sign put up to alert all drivers of the need to take things a bit slower. Great job by these students and a great opportunity to learn by using their skills, they can make things happen and solve issues. #Agriscience #Community #LEADLikeAComet
