Recently the North Bradley School Forest Property had a new driveway put in, further from the curve on that road for safety reasons after getting it approved by the Midland County Road Commission. We then turned a part of the project over to our Agriscience students, asking them to petition the Road Commission for a “hidden driveway” sign in that area to add more layers of safety. Lillian Rice jumped right in, determined the verbiage and wrote a letter to the Road Commission. Tryston Miller, Rilynn Hammond and Lauren Moening supported that letter, looking up the policies and steps that they needed to take. They got it completed quickly and the Road Commission responded just as fast. After decades without it, tha area already has a sign put up to alert all drivers of the need to take things a bit slower. Great job by these students and a great opportunity to learn by using their skills, they can make things happen and solve issues. #Agriscience #Community #LEADLikeAComet

Mr. Kalitta's psychology/sociology class tried out the Stroop test today! 🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣 The Stroop test is a classic psychological experiment that shows how perception can be distorted by attention and cognition, why multitasking often fails, and how automatic behaviors shape what we see and respond to. Students recorded how long it took them to read aloud each of the 3 pictured tests. Despite them all being very similar tests, results were very different! Have you ever tried the Stroop test?
