Terry Farley and her daughter McKennzie donated 100 boxes of cereal for the Elementary’s cereal drive. Thank you so much Terry and McKennzie! Elementary students hope to collect more than 1,006 boxes of cereal for a dominos set up and food drive donation. Donations are accepted through next Thursday.

The Athletic Department would like to recognize another sport on another day. Today are our powerlifters who represented our school at the State competition. Zach McPhee showed growth all season and finished with personal records in every category during the final competition. Zach set a PR in every. lift. He went 9 for 9 with the following records: squat 430lbs, bench 240lbs, deadlift 445lbs, Total of 1115lbs. Kapre Lynch finished the day going 8 for 9 on her lift attempts. She finished All-State in 4th place with a total PR of 655lbs. She also set PRs in Squat with 215lbs and Deadlift with 315lbs. Kapre is heading to Wisconsin to compete at the National level on Friday! We want to wish her the best.

Tuesday's award-winning athletes are the Bowling Teams. Karpre Lynch - MSAC Sportsmanship Award, first place in the MSAC doubles tourney Kapre helped the girls' team earn second place in the MSAC team tournament and won first place in the MSAC girls' doubles tourney with Charisma Gingerich. Jacob Butters - MSAC Sportsmanship Award, 11th in the regional tournament Jacob Butters and his partner placed second in the MSAC boys' doubles tourney and finished 11th at the States Regional Tournament with an 182 average over six games.

6th graders were able to spend some time up close and personal with flowers this month. After a lesson on the anatomy of a flower, students took their flower apart, looking at all the parts. Students then got cutting and opened up their flowers to see what was inside, then used a dissecting microscope to observe the sections up close.

Mr. Frisbee from the Chippewa Nature Center visited Mr. Liechty’s class last week to talk about ecological weather. The 3rd graders learned about how the earth’s positioning to the sun affects our daily weather, played weather bingo, and then built shelters to protect animals from a disaster .

Hello Spring Sports Parents,  You get to see the spring athletes and have your parent meetings all in one place! All of the athletes participating in spring sports will be introduced at 5:30 in the gym on Tuesday, 3/18/25. When the introductions are completed, there will be an opportunity for coaches to have their parent meetings all in different classrooms in the same building.
