Welcome to Logan Spray, who is our new JH Volleyball Coach this year! Logan has personal experience in many different athletics, and volleyball is her favorite. She has also been a volunteer coach with several different sports. Logan brings with her a strong understanding of working with students and student athletes of this age, as her "day job" is in leading students and teachers. She is interested in working with the teaching staff and guiding the students to help them excel both as a team, in the volleyball fundamentals and academically so they are ready to move forward both in sports and their school careers. Some of you may have seen Logan around the district already as she has been volunteering with some of our events. She is a great asset to the team!
Read on to learn a little more about her!
Why did you decide to become a volleyball coach? I've always loved volleyball and working with students. I also love the Coleman Community and how it feels like a family.
Do you have any prior connection with this school district/community? Some, I volunteered during the 25/26 Boys Basketball season.
What drew you to this opportunity? I grew up in a small town, playing all sports. I've always wanted to stay in a smaller, close-knit community. Volleyball has always had a huge place in my heart.
What does your absolute 'dream' day off look like? It depends on my mood, either staying at home with my dog, snuggling and watching a movie, or going out with friends and family, enjoying an adventure.
What adjectives would you use to describe yourself? Passionate, empathetic, reliable
What's your secret talent? If I told you, it wouldn't be a secret! :)
