Alicia is going to be a great addition to our team!
Read on to learn a little more about her!
Why did you decide to become a music teacher? My life feels enriched when I am involved in Musical Experiences, and I wanted to share that joy with others. I love being around young(er) people, and am blessed by the musical joie de vivre that I get to experience every day through and with my students.
What drew you to this opportunity?: I love being involved in small, tight-knight and supportive communities, which is how Coleman seems! I also love teaching both General Music and Choir.
What does your absolute dream day off look like?: A day trip to a beautiful beach with my family. Equal parts lounging with a compelling book and playing frisbee in the water. Leaving with that sun-kissed happiness.
Which three emojis best represent your personality? 🤣🙃🙄
What's your secret talent?: I am an oboist. I think that could be considered a "boutique hobby."
