Congrats to our very own Band Director and IT Director, Mr. Jim Burkhart, who we are so pleased to announce won the Mid-Michigan NOW Golden Apple Award based on community votes and nominations!
We learned that Mr. Burkhart received an overwhelming majority of the votes - and we can't say we're surprised one bit. Mr. Burkhart's dedication to the district and hard work has brought so many amazing opportunities to our band students; making him extremely deserving of this special award. Thanks for everything, Mr. B!
Reporters from Mid-Michigan NOW presented the award by surprising him and his students as they were doing some volunteer yard work for a local band donor.
