All of our Comet High School Tracksters headed to Regionals today in Breckenridge, each working hard to continue to make the season count. At the end of the day, 6 athletes from Coleman are headed to States on June 3rd! Congratulations to Isaiah Biers who punched his ticket to head back and defend his title. Neveah Chaffee qualified on time in the open 100m and then on the 4x1, 100 and 200. Amber Nehrig qualified in the 4x1 as did Ava Gross. Maddy Miller qualified in the 4x1, long jump and pole vault. And Kaylee Aultman is in for the mile on qualifying time by half a second.
It pays to never quit and these athletes have shown it. So many hours of practice and constant effort makes for impressive outcomes. Congratulations and best of luck at States to our athletes and their Coaches Mr. Donnie Thomas, Mr. Jessie Kalitta and Ms. Jess Araway!
