Wednesday, Oct. 13th is Administrator's Day and we are fortunate to have some of the best on our Comet Team. Thank you to Cindy Araway (Elementary Principal), Jen Hess (Jr./Sr. High Principal), Mike Huss (Maintenance/Custodial Director), Sara Hegel (Business Manager), Sara McNerney (Payroll Specialist), Michael Cowell (Transportation Director), Scott Baase (Food Service Director) and I'm adding Kerry Berthume in here without whom so much of the Supt./Board of Ed. work would not be possible. They are all gems that we cannot do without, giving unending time and energy. Please take a minute to share a few words, send them a note or give a small token of appreciation. Happy Administrator's Day!

We are fortunate to continue a strong relationship with local law enforcement on many levels, much of that in an effort to be proactive with the goal that many of those measures will never be necessary, but to be prepared if they are. Deputy Brandan Hodges, our School Resource Office, led local police and a SWAT team through the Jr./Sr. High after school hours today.
There were no issues and this was a pre-scheduled visit for them to practice. The visit also gave those officers the opportunity to learn our building, the hallways, entries and exits. . We are very fortunate for the close working relationships we have and how they value our students. Thank you!

HS Fall Sports pictures are tomorrow after school. Don't forget your jerseys and order forms. JH volleyball will be rescheduled; date to be determined.
