How will the elementary school facilities be impacted if this bond were to pass on August 3rd? A quick tour of the elementary shows which projects would be tackled that were not able to be completed with the 2015 bond

The Tax Calculator on the bond website is easy to find and easy to use. It literally takes one minute and provides you with an accurate estimate of the increase to your property taxes should the bond pass. It is important that you check this out for yourself instead of getting information from other people; everyone's income, township and estimated property tax increase is different. Several people were told their taxes would go up many hundreds of dollars, but after using the tax calculator, found it was much less than they had been told originally. Be informed before you vote. The Tax Calculator can be found at this link:

There are many needs that would be covered by this bond and serve us as we add programming and move into the future of Coleman Schools. Take a few minutes to learn more about the current state through these videos.
Classrooms have already been shared as a key reason needed for updates and recapturing of space in the Jr./Sr. High
https://vimeo.com/571766770 This includes different types of classrooms, like the Choir room
https://vimeo.com/571769990 and Science classrooms for experiments/investigations
https://vimeo.com/571737020 but also includes planning for the future and adding courses and programming for our students.
With classroom remodels, it would also improve the usability of our media center for dual enrollment, early/middle college and all students
https://vimeo.com/571740644, ensure there is sufficient office space and storage
https://vimeo.com/571738394 rather than putting people in too small spaces, providing for more conferences rooms, remodeling of bathrooms in the high school
https://vimeo.com/571770361 and updating to larger lockers for all students in the Jr./Sr. High
https://vimeo.com/571742427
Please SHARE with community members and be sure to vote on August 3rd or by Absentee Ballot by August 2nd.

Q: Do we have "trades" classes for Coleman Schools' students?
A: YES! We certainly do. Coleman Community Schools are part of the Midland County Career-Technical Education (CTE) Consortium offering 18+ programs to high school students, one of them being our own Agriscience Program. CTE courses are what used to be referred to as the "trades". Check out this video for more information about all of the programs our students are currently a part of and what could be if the Bond Proposal were to pass on August 3rd:
