10th Graders will be taking a field trip to Saginaw Valley State University for the MiCareer Quest event on October 28th! Permissions slips have been passed out and are due FRIDAY, October 21st. They must return to the office or Ms. Willoughby in order to attend.
October is College Month! This month you can expect Rep Visits, College Application Day, FAFSA Night, and a Career Quest field trip to SVSU (10th grade only)! Let's spread the excitement of College Month by wearing College Gear every Thursday in October! Homecoming festivities are coming up this weekend! The community is invited to join us in celebrating our school spirit! This Friday at 5:30 pm, come watch the Homecoming parade and enjoy a Powder Puff football game afterwards at 7 pm! Then, we'll have our Homecoming football game on Saturday morning at 11 am, and our Homecoming dance on Saturday evening from 8 pm - 11 pm. The Health department will be hosting a vaccine clinic at the Jr/Sr High School Auditorium on October 14th from 1-4 for students and staff. The health department will have either Pfizer or Moderna available with the Omicron variant protection, as well as the Influenza vaccine. The theme for the Homecoming dance this year is Dance Through the Decades! It will be on Saturday, October 8th in the Jr/Sr High gym, from 8-11 pm. $5 per person at the door. Have fun, Comets!
