We're recognizing more amazing staff members this week! ☄️
Our Food Service staff is always working hard. Thousands of free meals are served every school day and still more during the summer to make sure our students start the day out right and have the energy to get through the day and learn. They also make special meals for staff to order each week. This group works SO well as a team and are always ready to pitch in where needed. Thank you to the Food Service Team for the early morning efforts, the ability to come in smiling and the delicious food everyday!
Happy School Principal's Recognition Day! We are incredibly fortunate that both Mrs. Araway and Mrs. Hess are genuinely here for their students, families and staff. They spend an inordinate amount of hours getting to know all of those people by name, planning, adjusting on the fly, following policy, making decisions with the best intentions, and continuing to learn. Long before each day starts, they are already prepping. They are following through late into the night and over the weekends. Both want only the best for each person in their buildings and to bring the best education possible to the kiddos. Mrs. Araway and Mrs. Hess, TREMENDOUS thanks for all that you do every early morning, day, night, weekday and weekend. We appreciate every single thing you do.
Our transportation staff are the first people that many parents talk with in the summer before school starts, which starts the year off in a positive way. They are the first people the parents and students see each morning and the last ones to work with their children every night. They aren't the postal service, but they might as well be... "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds." They continuously keep our kids safe and able to get an education, work with them through tough situations and celebrate with them when something goes well. Thank you to our Transportation Team for the tremendous work they do daily and year round.
