There have been elves all over Mrs. Young's classroom all holiday season! 🎅 Yesterday, their classroom elf, Cookie, hitched a ride on Mrs. Klopf's back all day. 😆 there were also a bunch of elves swarming Mrs. Young and Mrs. Methner on her bulletin board - do you two need help!?

Thursday, 12/11/2025- Coleman Schools will be on a 2-hour delay today due to the condition of some of our backroads in both Midland and Isabella Counties. The Road Commissions have been working hard, but there was just a lot to do. Speaking with the Road Commissions last night and this morning, they will be out on those roads at 7 a.m. so we should be in good shape with a 2-hour delay. Be safe heading in later this morning.
Tuesday, 12/9/2025: In addition to the other cancellations, the Boys Basketball game is now cancelled as well due to worsening road conditions. All events/practices are now cancelled for this evening.
Wrestlers- Coach Kimball will be here BEFORE the end of the day to do weigh-ins for the meet tomorrow and wrestlers will be called down so they can still get on the bus or home at the end of the day.

3rd Grade Update! ☁️ 🌧️ 🐐 In mid-September, 3rd graders built their own anemometers for their "wild, wacky, weather" unit, Sean Long donated a rain gauge and an anemometer for us to keep, and Lillian Wright's family brought in a goat for the 3rd graders to pet!
Last week, Chartwells hosted a National Apple Crunch Day celebration! 🍎 In both buildings, students got to sample different varieties of fresh fall apples. What a beautiful, edible display! 🍏 #LEADLikeAComet
